Prevention Connection |
The Prevention Connection program promotes mental wellness through coordinating mental health and prevention education for community youth and promoting the utilization of resources for all ages. PC provides a comprehensive directory of information and many other resources. Currently, PC is only offered in Clermont County, Ohio.
Program Services: What Can Prevention Connection Do For You?
PC strives to provide efficient and effective outreach to Clermont County schools by reaching out to schools on the behalf of Clermont County mental health educators. Prevention Connection saves the time and energy of both the health educators and school personnel by eliminating the need for individual outreach to promote prevention programs. In addition, this program eliminates the duplication of services and fills in the gaps in mental health education.
- MHA created and maintains a directory that can be used via hard copy or here (see below)
- MHA creates and distributes "PC e-news" an email newsletter. Click Here to Read Latest Issue
- MHA hosts meetings with service providers and school personnel
- MHA attends local, state and national meetings/conferences pertaining to prevention and mental health education.
